- Transfer to Dambulla – 3 ½ hours drive approximately
- Visit Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, this complex dates from the third and second centuries BC
- Overnight stay in Sigiriya

- Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO world heritage site now and was the palace and pleasure garden of King Kassapa
- Visit Polonnaruwa, a UNESCO world heritage site. The second most ancient of Sri Lanka's kingdoms which are now ruined and includes many palaces and temples
- Overnight stay in Sigiriya

- Transfer to Kandy – 2 hours drive approximately
- Get on board scenic the train to Ella at 12.30 PM from Kandy which is known as one of the most scenic and nostalgic train journeys in the world
- Overnight stay in Ella
- Early morning proceed to Horton Plains with a packed breakfast
- Visit Horton Plains National Park for a nature trail of 4 hours to see Baker’s waterfall and World’s endpoint (additional cost required).
- Overnight stay in Ella

- Transfer to Udawalawe – 2 hours drive approximately
- Afternoon safari in Udawalawe National Park at 3 PM to see large herds of Elephants (additional cost required).

We always stay at here when in town. The location is great, staff is wonderful and we love the overall feel. Beautiful view from the here.

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
